WELCOME TO SAMPAT PRESS

SamPat Press is the Internet book store operated by Sam Hopkins, and offers the writings of his personal life experiences. The titles include war memoirs, and sports guide books. In addition to the already released two titles, A Chaplain Remembers Vietnam and How To Win In Tennis Leagues, selected books edited by Hopkins from other authors are being published.

A Chaplain Remembers Vietnam
Book Store Army Chaplain Sam Hopkins shares his inspiring personal experiences and an enlightening personal photographic history of the Vietnam war. A Chaplain Remembers Vietnam is an illuminating look into the daily life of a clergyman during wartime.  Sam Hopkins illustrates the stark contrast he saw between the horrors of war and the powerful beauty of the Vietnam countryside.

In his own words: "From 1966 to 1968, I was privileged to serve with 800 men who were called upon by our country to go to Vietnam and fight against a dedicated and deadly foe.  We formed a new unit together, trained for six months together, shipped out together, served our tour of duty together, and came home together.  Togetherness is the main theme of our unit's wartime experiences, and I have documented in word and in 80 photos the record of our wartime service."

The National Dusters, Quads, and Searchlight Association actively support the American Gold Star Mothers, an organization for women who lost their sons in combat.  Proceeds from sales of this book are donated to projects and services that will benefit these ladies.

How to Win in Tennis Leagues
Home You may have noticed that some tennis teams win league titles year after year, even while changing playing rosters.  You, too, can have a perennial winner by using a few sound principles that some teams have learned to employ.  Forming, managing, and playing on a championship tennis team requires special skills and knowledge.  If you are going to construct such a team and be a leading player on the roster, you need more than just a good personality and a great first serve. This book provides practical aids for recruiting, training, and deploying lineups that will succeed in top competition, and then keep on winning thereafter.

The author's small town tennis program produced the only team ever to win a triple crown in USTA sectional competition and play for three national championships in the same year. In a short period of time, some inexperienced amateur players found the keys to triumph in team tennis that other groups can use to win league titles.  Numerous teams have already used the author's strategies and insights to good advantage at advanced levels of play.  Your team can play better quickly by following the sound principles in this guidebook.  These valuable tennis tips will make the score "Your Ad" hereafter in match play.
